Oppenheimer star and Oscar winner actor Cillian Murphy’s insane transformation for the upcoming zombie apocalypse movie 28 Years Later has fans horrified. The latest trailer drop for Danny Boyle’s directorial has the fans of the franchise at loss for words.
The gripping trailer starts with a guardian getting a club of kids inside the TV room, where the telly plays Teletubbies. Glimpses from the world after 28 years from the release of the deadly rage virus is made even more dramatic with the narration of Rudyard Kipling’s grim verses from the 1915 poem “Boots.”
The camera tracks into a remote island where a fortified community stands guard against the forces of nature gone wild. The viewers were shocked to see a skeletal figure closely resembling Cillian Murphy, who had appeared in the first installment, 28 Days Later (2002), as a bicycle courier named Jim. The courier character did not have a recurring role in the sequel 28 Weeks Later (2009). Twenty-two years later, did he feature again in the trilogy? Maybe!
