Hyundai Creta Facelift 2024
Scheduled for its grand unveiling on January 16, the revamped edition of the mid-size SUV, which has been a standout leader in its segment, is set to introduce an array of new features.
Initially launched in India in July 2015, the Hyundai Creta has achieved remarkable success, with every third mid-size SUV sold in the country being a Creta. Accumulating an impressive tally of over 950,000 units sold domestically, the 2024 Creta facelift is poised to build on this legacy.
Reflecting Hyundai’s global design philosophy of ‘Sensuous Sportiness,’ the facelifted SUV boasts a redesigned front grille complemented by updated quad-beam LED headlamps.
The revamped LED positioning lamps, connected by an LED strip, add a distinctive touch, while the taillights echo the front LED DRL setup, forming a cohesive visual identity. Furthermore, both front and rear bumpers have undergone a redesign, accompanied by fresh alloy wheel designs, marking a comprehensive exterior update.
Inside the cabin, the 2024 Creta facelift showcases substantial enhancements, including an integrated infotainment screen and a digital instrument cluster.
The dashboard features a new touch display to operate HVAC functions, elevating the premium feel of the interior. The redesigned steering wheel adds a touch of sophistication. Safety-wise, the SUV comes standard with six airbags, while top-tier variants feature an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS).
The facelifted Creta is offered in a palette of six mono-tone color choices, including Atlas White, Abyss Black, Titan Grey, Ranger Khaki, Fiery Red, and the all-new Robust Emerald Pearl. Additionally, there is a dual-tone option of Atlas White with a Black Roof. The model is available in seven trims—E, EX, S, S(O), SX, SX Tech, and SX(O).
Under the hood, the 2024 Hyundai Creta offers three engine choices. The 1.5-litre Kappa Turbo GDi petrol unit, generating 160PS and 253Nm, marks the return of the turbo petrol option. The powertrain is shared with the 2023 Kia Seltos facelift. Additionally, there are the 1.5-litre MPi petrol (115PS and 144Nm) and 1.5-litre U2 CRDi diesel (116PS and 250Nm) options.
In terms of transmissions, the new Creta facelift offers four choices—6-speed manual, intelligent variable transmission (IVT), 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT), and 6-speed automatic transmission (AT). Car enthusiasts can secure their bookings either at any Hyundai dealership or through Hyundai’s Click To Buy online platform.
