Getting into the thick of things in the festive season, Toyota has launched the Limited Edition Urban Cruiser Taisor. This is the second limited from the Japanese manufacturer after the Hyryder. The Limited Edition Taisor is packed with a complimentary accessory package worth Rs 20,160. The idea behind this is to spruce the design and styling of the special edition Taisor.
The Toyota Genuine Accessories (TGA) package is available across the turbo petrol variants and is valid till October 31, 2024. This means the naturally aspirated models miss out on this deal.
Thanks to the free package available with the Limited Edition Taisor, the customers have the option to customise the coupe SUV according to their liking. This includes key features like front and rear under spoilers in granite grey and red colours, door sill guards, chrome inserts for the headlamps and front grille, additional side body cladding, door visor, all-weather mats and a welcome door lamp.
The Limited Edition Toyota Taisor is powered by the 1-litre 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine and has an output of 99 bhp and 148 Nm of torque. It is mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic torque converter transmission.
The standard Taisor, on the other hand, gets a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated engine which churns out 89 bhp and 113 Nm. It is paired with a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT.
There is no change in prices as the Limited Edition Taisor costs Rs 10.55 lakh to Rs 13.03, ex-showroom. The Toyota compact SUV competes against Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Fronx, Tata Nexon, Mahindra 3X0, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet and the upcoming Skoda Kylaq.
