Chandrayaan-3 Mission Updates: The Lander Module (LM) which has been separated from Propulsion Module on August 17, is currently into its pre-landing orbit of 24 km x 134 km and all systems are working well, as updated by ISRO.

ISRO recently shared images of Lunar far side captured by Lander Hazard Detection and Avoidance Camera (LHDAC) which has been fitted on Vikram Lander Module.

LHDAC camera which will be playing a pivotal role in safe and soft descent of module on lunar surface, assist in locating safe landing area without trenches and boulders as per ISRO.

The anticipated lunar landing time for Chandrayaan-3, initially set for 5:47 pm on August 23, 2023, has been postponed by 17 minutes. The revised schedule now indicates a landing time of 6:04 pm on the same date, August 23.
