Karnataka: Police Officer Molests Woman Complainant At DySP Office Restroom; Viral Video Sparks Outrage

A serious case of alleged sexual misconduct has emerged against Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) Ramachandrappa of Madhugiri division, with video evidence of inappropriate behavior with a woman complainant going viral on social media.

The incident reportedly occurred when a woman from Pavagada visited the DySP’s office to file a complaint regarding a land dispute, as per Hindusatan Times Kannada website.

According to reports, the senior police officer allegedly lured the woman to an area near the office washroom where the misconduct took place. The entire incident was captured on camera and has since been circulating on social media platforms.

The incident has drawn sharp criticism as it occurred in Home Minister Dr Parameshwar’s home district of Tumakuru. Critics point out the irony of law enforcement officers, who are meant to protect citizens, engaging in such inappropriate behavior.
