UPPSC PCS Prelims 2024 examination postponed, likely to be held in December – Check details

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has postponed the UPPSC PCS Prelims 2024 exam. Initially scheduled for October, the Combined State/Senior Subordinate Services (Pvt.) Examination-2024 is now expected to be held in mid-December 2024. Candidates can check the official notice on the UPPSC website at uppsc.up.gov.in.

As per the notice, a new date and schedule will be announced soon.

The preliminary exam will consist of two compulsory papers, both of which will be conducted on OMR sheets. Paper I will be from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, while Paper II will be from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Each paper will carry 200 marks and have a duration of two hours.

Paper II is a qualifying paper, requiring a minimum score of 33% to pass. Candidates must appear for both papers, as failure to do so will result in disqualification.

1. Visit the official UPPSC website at uppsc.up.gov.in.

2. Click on the link for the UPPSC PCS Prelims 2024 examination postponement notice in the “What’s New” section.

3. A PDF with the details will open.

4. Download and print a copy for future reference.
