In a major operation by Navi Mumbai Police, shooter Sukha was arrested in the state of Haryana this morning. The Panvel City Police of Navi Mumbai arrested notorious shooter Sukha from Panipat, Haryana. An FIR had already been registered against Sukha by the Navi Mumbai Police.
Sukha was one of the accused who conducted a recce of actor Salman Khan’s farmhouse in Panvel. He played a key role in plotting the planned attack on Salman Khan’s farmhouse.
Sukha, a notorious fugitive linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, was apprehended at the Abhinandan Hotel in the Anaj Mandi area of Panipat’s Sector 29. Sukha had been on the run for months.
Earlier, five other accused were arrested in connection with this case. Sukha is now being brought to Navi Mumbai for further interrogation.
According to Panvel police, Sukha played a crucial role in planning the murder attempt at Khan’s Panvel farmhouse, acting on the instructions of Lawrence Bishnoi, the mastermind behind the conspiracy.
During the investigation, it was revealed that Sukha delegated the assassination task to designated shooter Ajay Kashyap, alias AK, and four others involved in the plot. Kashyap and his team conducted a reconnaissance of Salman Khan’s farmhouse, meticulously assessing the star’s security measures. They concluded that sophisticated, high-end weapons would be required to carry out the assassination due to the actor’s tight security and bulletproof vehicles.
Further investigations uncovered Sukha’s direct ties with Dogar, a Pakistan-based arms dealer. Sukha contacted Dogar via video call, flaunting an AK-47 and other advanced firearms wrapped in a shawl, while negotiating the terms of the arms deal. Dogar agreed to supply the necessary sophisticated weaponry from Pakistan, with Sukha agreeing to pay 50% upfront and the rest upon delivery in India.
Sukha was financing the entire operation, bankrolling the conspiracy to eliminate Salman Khan.
According to officials, Sukha was planning to visit with the sophisticated weapons to execute the operation, but before that could happen, Ajay Kashyap and the other accused were arrested. Following this, Sukha went underground and had been evading capture for the past few months.
The Navi Mumbai Police conducted the operation in coordination with the Panipat Police. Sukha will be produced in the Panipat court for transit remandd.
