The Skoda Kylaq will be the carmaker’s entry-level offering in India and the SUV has been spotted several times, either being tested or during its TVC shoots. While most details have been revealed, one interesting aspect about the Kylaq is its engine.
It sits in a segment that has a wide variety to offer, from the Brezza’s petrol-only offering to others that offer an optional diesel engine, to the Nexon, which is offered in petrol, diesel, and in an all-electric form. The Skoda Kylaq will use a familiar engine — a 1.0-litre turbo petrol unit that powers the Kushaq and the Slavia sedan. The Nexon’s engine is a well-known unit, as it has powered the vehicle for a long time now. This is how they compare against each other in terms of specifications.
