Mahindra has revised the prices of the XUV700, effective today. Based on the variant of the XUV700, prices will now be dearer by Rs 50,000. Depending on the XUV700 variant and fuel option, expect to pay anywhere between Rs 30,000 and Rs 50,000 more for the Mahindra XUV700.
The top-spec Mahindra XUV700 variants such as the AX7L diesel AT 7S, AX7L diesel AT 6S, and the AX7L diesel AT 7S AWD have seen a price hike of Rs 50,000. The XUV700 variants such as the AX7 petrol 7S AT, AX7 petrol 6S AT, AX7L petrol 7S AT, AX7L petrol AT 6S, AX7 diesel AT 7S, AX7 diesel 6S AT, AX7 diesel 7S AT 4WD, AX7L diesel 7S MT, and the AX7L diesel 6S MT variants have become more expensive by Rs 30,000.
Variants such as the XUV700 AX7 petrol 7S MT, AX7 petrol 6S MT, AX7 diesel 7S MT, and the AX7 diesel 6S MT see no changes in price. The variants not mentioned here also don’t see any changes in their ex-showroom price.
The Mahindra XUV700 is available in petrol and diesel configurations. The petrol engine makes 197bhp from its 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine while the diesel engine makes either 153bhp or 182bhp from its 2.2-litre diesel engine. Both engines are paired to a manual or an automatic torque converter gearbox.
The Mahindra XUV700 primarily competes with the Tata Safari and the Hyundai Alcazar in the Indian market. Other competition also includes the Toyota Innova Crysta and the Harrier. The XUV700 by Mahindra currently carries a price tag of Rs 13.99 – 25.64 lakh, ex-showroom.
