Jaipur: Two vehicles of CM Bhajan Lal Sharma’s convoy were hit by a car coming from the wrong side in Jaipur on Wednesday. Five people, including three policemen, got injured in the accident. CM Sharma took the injured to the hospital.
The CM with his convoy was going to inaugurate a skill development center with VIce President Jagdip Dhankhar at around 3.00 pm. Meanwhile, at Akshayapatra intersection, two vehicles in the CM’s convoy were hit by a car coming from the wrong side.
Three vehicles were damaged in the accident. Of these, two are government vehicles, while one is a taxi car. Three policemen were injured in the accident. The driver of the colliding vehicle, Pawan and his companion were also injured.
Chief Medical and Health Officer Hansraj said that the condition of injured Surendra Singh is critical. He has suffered a head injury and is on ventilator. Eyewitnesses said that vehicle coming from the wrong side hit CM’s convoy’s first vehicle.
The collision was so severe that both the vehicles went off the road. Due to this sudden incident, other vehicles running in the convoy applied brakes and another vehicle in the convoy climbed the divider. Immediately after the accident, CM Bhajanlal Sharma got down from his car and took the injured to the hospital.
