Congress leader Rahul Gandhi delivered a heartfelt appeal to the citizens of our nation, emphasizing the paramount importance of maintaining brotherhood and denouncing violence. In a Facebook post written in Hindi Gandhi said, “Spreading hatred and violence in the country, making a brother fight with his brother, what kind of patriotism is it?”

With a resolute voice, the former Congress chief reiterated his long-standing belief that progress can never be achieved through anger and animosity. Instead, he called for peace as the indispensable foundation for India’s advancement.

Gandhi appealed to all Indians to uphold brotherhood and refrain from resorting to violence, for it only serves to harm our beloved country. He reinforced his message by sharing a powerful video reel titled ‘Peace — The Only Way,’ showcasing his previous speeches where he had sternly warned against the dangers of spreading hatred and violence.

These remarks come in the aftermath of clashes that erupted in Nuh, which then spilled over to Gurugram in the last two days due to an attempt to halt a Vishva Hindu Parishad procession. Tragically, six people, including two home guards and a cleric, lost their lives in these clashes.

Adding, a tragic incident unfolded involving Railway Protection Force (RPF) Constable Chetan Singh, who allegedly used his automatic weapon to fatally shoot his senior colleague Tika Ram Meena and three passengers aboard a moving train near Palghar railway station on the outskirts of Mumbai. He was later nabbed.
