Shortly after, Election Commission of India announced the dates for the Delhi Assembly elections, Aam Aadmi Party chief and former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal predicted the outcome of the polls.

In an attempt to lift the spirit of party workers, AAP chief Kejriwal in a post on X said, “The election dates have been announced. All workers should be ready to enter the field with full strength and enthusiasm. Your passion defeats their big systems. You are our greatest strength.”

“This election will be between the “Kaam ki raajneeti”(politics of work) and “Gaali-galoj ki raajneeti” (politics of abuse). The trust of Delhi’s people will be with our politics of work. We will definitely win.

The translation maintains the assertive and motivational tone of the original Hindi text, capturing both the literal meaning and the spirit of political mobilization present in the message,” he said.

Ending speculation regarding Delhi Assembly elections, the poll body announced the dates on Tuesday in a press conference. All the 70 seats in Delhi will vote in a single phase on February 5 and the counting will take place on February 8.

The main contest in Delhi is between the AAP, BJP and the Congress party. In previous elections, AAP had registered a landslide victory by winning 62 of 70 seats in Delhi. While the BJP could win only 7 seats, the Congress party failed to open account.
