New Delhi, India (September 9, 2023) The leaders of the world’s 20 largest economies arrived in Delhi today for the G20 Summit, which is being hosted by India. The summit will focus on a range of global issues, including the war in Ukraine, the global food crisis, shortage of fuel, fertilizers and climate change.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed the leaders at Bharat Mandapam, an exhibition and convention center in Pragati Maidan.

Among the leaders who arrived today were US President Joe Biden, Chinese Premier Li Qiang, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.

The summit will also be an opportunity for the leaders to meet and discuss bilateral issues. PM Modi is expected to hold bilateral meetings with a number of leaders, including President Biden, Mohammed bin Salman and Chancellor Scholz.
