Dabba Cartel Trailer: Shabana Azmi, Shalini Pandey & Others Get Thrust Into A Drug Trafficking Tiffin Service

On Tuesday afternoon, Netflix took to their official social media handles to release the trailer of their upcoming web series Dabba Cartel. Directed by Hitesh Bhatia of Sharmaji Namkeen fame, the web-series is written by Vishnu Menon and Bhavna Kher. The trailer gives a glimpse into the world of three middle-class women who run a tiffin service, alongside trafficking drugs with their food. When they find themselves in trouble, as some greedy men find out about it, Shabana AzmiтАЩs character arrives to help them.

The two-minute and thirty-second trailer has certainly left the fans excited to know more about the upcoming show, which will stream on the streaming platform from February 28, 2025. The show certainly promises thrilling secrets, felonies made by the women, and a gripping tale as they navigate their life through everything to keep running their business, after being thrust into the dark world of Viva Life Pharmaceuticals.

Dabba Cartel stars Shabana Azmi, Gajraj Rao, Jyotika, Nimisha Sajayan, Shalini Pandey, Anjali Anand, Sai Tamhankar, Jisshu Sengupta, Lillete Dubey and Bhupendra Singh Jadawat in pivotal roles. Reportedly set in the 1960s, the web series apparently unfolds on the streets of Thane. The trailer has ignited a curiosity amongst the audience, who are excited to watch the women headlining a project related to drug trafficking.

Produced by Excel Entertainment, Dabba Cartel is created by Shibani Dandekar, Vishnu Menon, Gaurav Kapur, and Akanksha Seda. Opening up about the project, Dandekar, through a statement, revealed that the makers wanted to explore тАЬthe extraordinary journey of ordinary household women and how resilience, ambition, and survival instincts can push them into unimaginable circumstances.тАЭ She concluded that the story of friendship, betrayal and power, set against the backdrop of a world they didnтАЩt imagine being a part of.
