“Lao ji Finally Ho Gaya Add Mumbai,” Diljit Dosanjh, the Punjabi pop icon and Bollywood star, announced much to the delight of his fans in the maximum city.
Diljit Dosanjh’s whirlwind Dil-Luminati tour is in its India leg with sold-out gigs at Hyderabad, Delhi, Jaipur, and Ahmedabad. The gig is so popular that it has rivaled the upcoming Coldplay India tour in 2025. The India leg of the tour commenced in Delhi on October 26, after a successful run across America, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand. With Mumbai, the Pujabi pop-star and actor will bring the roof down in 12 cities, including upcoming shows in Lucknow (Nov 22), Pune (Nov 24), Kolkata (Nov 30), Bengaluru (Dec 6), Indore (Dec 8), and Chandigarh (Ded 14). Diljit’s last gig on the epic Dil-Luminati tour is in Guwahati on December 29. The Mumbai show will be on December 17. The tickets for the same will go live at Zomato Live on Friday, November 22. Tickets for both Diljit’s Dil-Luminati show and Coldplay’s upcoming concert in India have been sold out within minutes, leaving several fans hanging.
Diljit’s shows in the country created a buzz pertaining to certain lyrics with references to alcohol. As Hyderabad asked the star to chuck out the words or face shutdown of the show, Diljit has now urged the government to declare the entire India a dry state to show that it actually cares.
