After a bone chilling teaser, the makers of Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story Of Jallianwala Bagh have released a goosebumps evocative trailer starring Akshay Kumar, R Madhavan, Ananya Panday, and others. Mainly focused on the aftermath of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre and how it impacted the rest of the country, the high-voltage courtroom drama is based on the life of Sir C Sankaran Nair. A Lawyer who fought against the British Empire and sued the Crown for the genocide after the Jallianwala Bagh massacre on April 13, 1919.

The three minute two second trailer begins with Kumar’s character questioning Brigadier-General Reginald Dyer, the primary perpetrator of the massacre, for ordering his men to open fire at the people gathered at the venue without any warning or motive. As he defends himself by stating that all of the people present there were terrorists who had weapons with them, Nair asks what weapons were eleven-month old kids holding.

This leads to the entry of R Madhavan, who essays the role of Neville McKinley, a lawyer who fights against Nair and for the British Government.
