Ajay Singh Deol, aka Sunny Deol, starrer Jaat is on a slow roll on the second day of its big-screen release. At about 5585 shows across the country on Thursday, the movie raked in a little shy of 100 million at Rs 9.5 crore. With screens reduced to 5141 shows, the movie earned Rs 7 crores on its second day, making its total box office earnings Rs 16.5 crore.

Per another report, the BO for the film after day two is at Rs 15.50 crore. The Gopichand Malineni directorial had an overall occupancy of 14.2% for the Hindi audience, which reduced to 11.19% on Friday; however, Saturday and Sunday, being a weekend, will see a spike in numbers (and revenue).

Jaat stars Randeep Hooda as the chief antagonist opposite Bollywood veteran Sunny Deol. Reviews for the flick have been generally favorable, as it features trademark South Indian action elements, glorifying violence of course (what else did you expect?). The movie also features Vineet Kumar Singh, Siyami Kher, Regina Cassandra, Jagapathi Babu, and Zarina Wahab among an ensemble cast. Per reports, Tollywood star Ravi Teja was expected to star in the movie. Post the success of Gadar 2 (2023), Sunny Deol was approached who signed the dotted lines for Rs 50 crore (reportedly).

Sunny Deol will next be seen in Lahore 1947 alongside Preity Zinta. The Gadar (2001) star will feature as lord Hanuman in the Nitesh Tiwari directorial Ramayana: Part 1 (2026).
