Swara Bhasker is being brutally trolled over a photo of her wearing a simple salwar suit, without any makeup on. The viral image was taken when she met the controversial Islamic figure, Maulana Sajjad Nomani. She also received much backlash for posing for the photo when he is known for his controversial take about women going to schools while the actress has been vocal about being a feminist.
Meanwhile, the actress’ photo is also being trolled with before after marriage pictures. Some even targeting her husband Fahad Ahmad. The actress finally reacted to the trolling on Thursday and said she wasn’t aware what she wears is a national issue.
Swara shared a series of photos after her wedding with Fahad. While one features her wearing a strapless dress, another shows her in a flowy gown with a plunging neckline. She also shared a post comparing her photos before and after her wedding.

She captioned the post as, “I didn’t realise my wardrobe choices post marriage are a national cyber debate (bizarre!).. Here are more pics of me post marriage to give Sanghi verminmore fodder for their dung.” Mentioning her husband she added, “Im sorry @FahadZirarAhmad doesn’t fit your stereotype of a conservative Muslim husband. Lol!”
Swara has also been seen campaigning for her husband Fahad Ahmad across Maharashtra. According to reports, Fahad contested the Maharashtra Assembly elections on an NCP (Sharad Pawar) ticket from the Anushakti Nagar constituency seat, against NCP’s Sana Malik.
