Bollywood actor Sohum Shah has made a mark in the entertainment industry with his method acting and amazing performances. With projects like the National Award-winning Ship Of Theseus, Tumbbad, and Talvar, in his kitty, he recently credited his successful career to Shah Rukh Khan. One of the most successful actors and filmmakers, who backed a project like Tumbbad, his film became one of the highest-grossing Indian films, which did an amazing business after re-releasing in the big screens.
During an interaction with the entertainment portal, Pinkvilla, Sohum opened up about the influence SRK had on his life and career. When asked if he seeks inspiration from the 59-year-old actor, he expressed his fondness for the star and even dedicated his success to him. He added that he credits his entire success to Khan. Quoted by News18, he said in Hindi, “Main toh yahan hoon Shah Rukh Khan saab ke vajah se aur mai toh yeh bohut jagah kehta hoon ki jiss insaan me Shah Rukh Khan ka 5 percent bhi nhi hai, usse jeene ka bhi koi haq nahi hai.”

He went on to talk about the impressive legacy of Amitabh Bachchan, SRK and Salman Khan. The 41-year-old actor said, “Bachchan Saab ka jo kaam haina, mujhey lagta hai vo koi match kar hi nahi sakta. Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan legacy hai.”
On the work front, Sohum Shah is gearing up for the release of his upcoming psychological thriller Crazxy, which he has co-produced and starred in. Set to release on February 28, Crazxy revolves around a successful surgeon Abhimanyu Sood, who finds himself in a race against time after his daughter gets kidnapped. He has to arrange a massive ransom for her release. The Girish Kohli directorial also stars Mukesh Shah, Amita Shah, and Adesh Prasad in pivotal roles.
