Currently, Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal is gearing up for Chhaava. The movie is releasing in December. Now, a report says that he will also be seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s next film. Kaushal will be collaborating with the director for the third time after Sanju and Dunki.
According to a report by Telly Chakkar, Kaushal and Hirani are teaming up for the third time. And this time Kaushal will take on the lead role. The report further suggests that Hirani has approached Kaushal for the lead in his upcoming movie after initially considering other contemporaries. Nothing much has been shared, and no official announcement has been made till now.
Coming to Chhaava, the teaser opens with the introduction of Kaushal as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. He is seen fighting like a brave soldier. The actor has left everyone impressed with his look and action in the small clip. Ahead of the teaser release, Kaushal took to social media to share the first poster of the movie, which looks intense as he is seen fighting with hundreds of soldiers.
Chhaava, directed by Laxman Utekar and also starring Rashmika Mandanna and Akshay Khanna, was initially scheduled for release on 6 December 2024. Also, in Chhaava, Rashmika Mandanna takes on the role of Chatrapati Maharani Yesubai Bhonsale.
Meanwhile, Chhaava’s release has now been postponed, according to a recent report by Mid-Day, to avoid clashing with Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2. Kaushal will also be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War along with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. For those unaware, Kapoor and Kaushal will play the characters of Indian Army officers in Love & War.
