The star was on hand at the TCL Chinese Theatre for the premiere of Maria, her new Pablo Larrain film in which she stars as opera legend Maria Callas. But last night it became clear that Jolie has cultivated a signature red carpet look, as no one does a slinky silk dress better than the A-lister.
For the premiere, Jolie wore a champagne-colored silky floor-length dress, paired with a draped black overcoat and tasteful silver jewelry. The dress hit all the right formal notes in a subdued way, perhaps owning to the fact that Jolie has a long history of wearing such silky designs.
