Nobody Does Haunted Glamour Quite Like Lady Gaga

Last night, some of music’s top performers gathered for the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards, held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Some of the notable names on hand for the ceremony? Mariah Carey, Doechii, GloRilla, Billy Idol, and Lady Gaga—the latter of whom accepted a special Innovator Award for her trailblazing artistic style and distinctive body of work. “Winning an award honoring my entire career at 38 years old is a hard thing to get my head around,” Gaga said on stage while accepting her trophy. “On the one hand, I feel like I’ve been doing this forever. On the other hand, I know I’m just getting started.”

Naturally, the star—who just released her seventh studio album, Mayhem, earlier this month—brought a striking fashion ensemble for the outing. Channeling a dash of haunted glamour, Gaga wore McQueen’s high-collar dress with gathered cuffs, in a poppy red silk georgette layered with floral lace. The dark, romantic design is fresh off the label’s fall 2025 show (debuted in Paris earlier this month), and the gown was perfectly in sync with the looks she has been sporting throughout her new Mayhem era.

The pop of red, however, did prove to be a new addition to her edgy wardrobe as of late. Throughout the past month, as she has been promoting the album, Gaga has favored an all-black wardrobe—sporting looks from labels such as Phoebe Philo, Acne Studios, and Balenciaga. But lest we not forget the dramatic red Mother Mayem look she wore in her “Abracadabra” video—so this latest look is right on theme. Put your paws up!
