ISRO is going for its first solar mission with Aditya-L1 satellite, planning to placed in a Halo Orbit.

ISRO on August 14 shares pics of satellite Aditya-L1 on its social handles ready for its first space based solar mission to study the Sun.

As per ISRO, its most trusted PSLV rocket will be taking Aditya-L1 mission to Sun’s halo orbit, which is around 1.5 million km from Earth from Sathish Dhawan Space Centre(SDSC) from Sriharikota.

Revealing on X formerly Twitter, ISRO said, “Aditya-L1, the first space-based Indian observatory to study the Sun, is getting ready for the launch. The satellite realised at the U R Rao Satellite Centre (URSC), Bengaluru has arrived at SDSC-SHAR, Sriharikota.”
