The summer transfer window won’t reopen in Europe for a while yet, but there are plenty of moves in the works and gossip swirling around. Transfer Talk brings you all the latest buzz on rumours, comings, goings and, of course, done deals!

Napoli want to sign Lille striker Jonathan David this summer, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Serie A side are reported to view the 24-year-old as the ideal future successor for Victor Osimhen, with interest expected to resurface from Paris Saint-Germain as well as sides in the Premier League.

The 24-year-old Canada international is believed to be at the top of the shortlist of potential replacements, and he is said to have already indicated that he would be willing to make the switch to Naples after positive talks were held with his representatives.

The Ligue 1 club are reportedly looking for a fee of €50 million to part ways with their top scorer this season, who has scored 16 goals in 28 league matches.

Manchester United are interested in a move for Barcelona defender Jules Koundé, reports Rudy Galetti. The Red Devils are reported to be actively searching for a replacement for Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who is expected to leave in the summer, and it looks as though the 25-year-old is one of the first names on their shortlist. They are also said to be keen on Bayer Leverkusen‘s Jeremie Frimpong.

Liverpool are interested in Nottingham Forest centre-back Murillo, reports Football Insider. The Reds are the latest club to be linked with the 21-year-old, who is also on the radar of Newcastle United, and Forest are expected to demand more than £20m to part ways with him. He has made 30 appearances across all competitions this season.

– Bayer Leverkusen want to sign on-loan defender Josip Stanisic permanently, reports Sky Sports Deutschland’s Florian Plettenberg. The 24-year-old Croatia international is currently on loan with the Bundesliga champions from Bayern Munich, who are reported to be looking to include him in their squad for next season. No contact has been made yet to discuss a potential fee.

– No talks have been held between Manchester United and midfielder Kobbie Mainoo over a new contract, reports Sky Sports’ Amar Mehta. Previous reports had indicated that talks were ongoing to sign the 18-year-old to an extension, but it is believed that the Red Devils are “relaxed” over his current situation, with his deal at Old Trafford not set to expire until the summer of 2027.

– Negotiations are ongoing between Barcelona and midfielder Marc Bernal over a new long-term contract, reports Fabrizio Romano. The 16-year-old, who is currently with the Barcelona B side, is said to have attracted interest from clubs in the Premier League, Serie A, and the Bundesliga, but his priority is to remain with the Blaugrana.
