Jeep India has launched the facelift version of the Meridian starting from Rs 24.99 lakh, ex-showroom. Jeep has slashed the price of the 2025 Meridian by over Rs 6 lakh. It is available in four variants and comes in two versions — 5 and 7-seater. This is the first time the Meridian is available as a 5-seater. Jeep had already opened the bookings and the deliveries are expected to begin from the end of October.

The previous Meridian model started from Rs 31.23 lakh, ex-showroom, costing Rs 6.24 lakh more premium than the new 2025 SUV. This is the first time Jeep has decided to offer the Meridian as a 5-seater and a 7-seater. This is the reason why the price range starts from Rs 24.99 lakh to Rs 36.49 lakh, ex-showroom. It now comes in four variants — Longitude, Longitude Plus, Limited (O) and Overland.

The biggest update Jeep has introduced in the Meridian Overland trim is the Level 2 ADAS suite with over 10 features like Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go, Collision Mitigation Braking, Blind Spot Detection, Active Lane Keep Assist and Intelligent Speed Assist. The 2025 Meridian Jeep Meridian comes with over 70 safety and security features like a 360-degree View Camera, 6-Airbags standard, Hill-hold Assist, Electronic Roll Mitigation and Electronic Parking Brake.

The Meridian continues to sport a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.1-inch floating display integrated with a navigation system, a wireless charger, a 9-speaker Alpine music system and dual-zone climate control.

Jeep has spruced up the connected tech with Automatic SOS Call, Remote Engine Start/Stop with AC Preconditioning, Alexa Home to Vehicle, Smartwatch Extension, Vehicle Health Report with alert, Connected One-Box Navigation Search with live traffic, weather and incident updates, and OTA firmware updates.

In the Meridian’s five-seat configuration, you’ll get 670 litres of boot space with all seats up, while the seven-seater offers 824 litres with the two rows folded down and 481 litres with five occupants seated.

The facelift Meridian continues to be powered by a 2-litre diesel engine with an output of 167 bhp at 3750 rpm and 350 Nm at 1750 to 2500 rpm. It is mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic torque converter. Being a Jeep, it comes in two drivetrains — 4×2 and 4×4. The aggressively priced 5-seater Meridian directly competes against its sibling, the Compass, while the three-row version takes on the Toyota Fortuner, Skoda Kodiaq and MG Gloster.
