Kawasaki unveiled the 2025 edition of its litre-class flagship, the Ninja ZX-10R in September this year. The motorcycle was launched for Rs 17.3 lakh, ex-showroom, however, a few days later, Kawasaki increased the price to Rs 18.50 lakh ex-showroom, putting it close to the BMW S 1000 RR, losing its value for money factor. Now, Kawasaki has announced a price drop of Rs 1.14 lakh, making it now cost Rs 17.34 lakh, ex-showroom.
The 2025 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R is powered by a 999cc, inline four-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that churns out 200bhp and 115Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The engine is capable of making an additional 10bhp with RAM air intake. The gearbox gets a bi-directional quickshifter as standard.
In terms of features, the 2025 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R gets fully adjustable Showa BFF forks and a Showa BFRC rear monoshock. The motorcycle gets dual 330mm front discs and a 220mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS, and an Ohlins electronic steering damper.
On the electronics front, the Ninja ZX-10R gets traction control, lean-sensitive ABS, cruise control, launch control, engine brake control, and multiple riding modes. The motorcycle also gets a TFT dash with phone connectivity. The Ninja is a value-for-money proposition when compared to its competitors like the Honda CBR 1000R, GSX-R1000, and the BMW S 1000 RR.
