Blinkit Will Now Allow Easy 10-Min Return But There is a Catch!

Blinkit has launched a 10-minute return and exchange service for clothing and footwear in select Indian cities. This initiative aims to tackle common online shopping concerns, such as size and fit issues, providing Blinkit with a competitive advantage over fashion e-commerce platforms like Amazon, Myntra, Ajio and more.

Albinder Dhindsa, co-founder of Blinkit, announced the new feature on X, highlighting its potential to improve the shopping experience for consumers. This feature solves a crucial problem of size anxiety for categories like clothing and footwear. This return or exchange will happen within 10 minutes of raising a request.

Dhindsa also mentioned that the return or exchange process will be completed within 10 minutes of raising a request. This feature has been tested in Delhi NCR for several weeks and has now been expanded to Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Pune. More cities will be added soon.

Blinkit has not yet officially released specific details on how the 10-minute return process will work. However, it is expected that users will initiate requests through the Blinkit app, accompanied by a dedicated pickup service to ensure the process is completed within the promised timeframe.

Several users praised the new service. One commented, “This is a killer advantage for quick commerce/blinkit. Love it!” while another wrote, “The critical missing piece is sorted out, guess a lot more people will opt for blinkit for these type of products.”

One users commented, “That’ just like going to a trial room. So I order a couple of shirts(delivered in 10m), I try all of them(5m to try all), I give back the items which are not fitting and done.” while one suggested, “Also add option to keep favourite for future purchases.”

As Blinkit and its competitors venture into the fashion industry, they’re offering a wider selection of popular brands like Adidas, Pepe, FabIndia, Jockey, and more. This expansion means customers can access a variety of products instantly, something traditional e-commerce platforms often struggle to match.
