Beneath the sturdy, albumin-colored, heat-resistant casing lay a complex engineered mechanism that holds both a reactor core and a heavy water pump for coolant. The Egg ships with a display. Under the hood is a powerful chip. In its unveiling video, the host stated that the product will revolutionize three industries, including power, independence and the freedom industry. Enron was embroiled in one of the biggest corporate scandals in history with accounting fraud in 2001, post which the company filed for bankruptcy. The scandal paved the way for the enactment of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, which imposes a hefty penalty on manipulating financial records.
