Gujarat: Massive Fire At Titanium Square On SG Highway In Ahmedabad Contained After 3 Hours; Visuals Surface

A massive fire broke out early in the morning in Titanium Square, a commercial building near the Thaltej intersection on SG Highway in Ahmedabad. The blaze, caused by a short circuit, engulfed three floors, gutting more than 12 offices. Fortunately, no casualties were reported as the offices were unoccupied at the time of the incident.

About The Incident

The fire started on the ninth floor of Block C around 4:23 AM and quickly spread to the 10th and 11th floors. Divisional Chief Fire Officer Swastik Jadeja and Inayat Singh stated that fire brigade teams from Prahladnagar and Thaltej fire stations were dispatched immediately after receiving the alert. Upon arrival, the fire had already spread extensively, prompting the deployment of additional teams.

A total of 28 fire engines from multiple fire stations, including Chandkheda, Sabarmati, and Maninagar, were mobilized to tackle the fierce blaze. Senior fire brigade officials supervised the operation, which involved using advanced firefighting equipment and breaking office doors to access the affected areas.
