Jaipur (Rajasthan), January 26: In a shocking incident, a woman committed suicide allegedly after harassment and assault by husband in Rajasthan’s Jaipur. The mysterious death of Muskan Jain, a teacher at a reputed school, has taken a shocking turn. Initially deemed an accident, new evidence from her mobile phone has revealed that Muskan committed suicide after enduring harassment from her in-laws.
Videos Expose Harassment
Four days after Muskan’s death, a cyber expert unlocked her mobile phone, uncovering videos that shed light on her struggles. In the videos, recorded just 14 hours before her death, Muskan tearfully accused her husband Priyansh Sharma, father-in-law Nirmal Sharma and her mother-in-law Mitu Sharma of torturing her.
The videos, which have now gone viral, show Muskan blaming her in-laws for constant harassment and emotional abuse, bringing the true story behind her death to light. She also said in the video that her mobile phone has all the evidence about the torture she had gone through at her in-laws.
Death Initially Reported as an Accident
When Muskan passed away, it was reported that she had died from falling down the stairs. However, after the discovery of the videos, the narrative changed dramatically. The police have now registered an FIR against Priyansh Sharma and his parents for dowry harassment and abetment to suicide.
Muskan’s Father’s Allegations
Muskan’s father shared that his daughter had married Priyansh on November 19, 2022. He revealed that the relationship began when both were students, and Priyansh had manipulated Muskan into falling for him. The father alleged that after marriage, Priyansh’s family subjected Muskan to relentless abuse, ultimately driving her to take her own life.

The Fight for Justice
The heartbreaking revelations have sparked outrage and calls for justice. Muskan’s case highlights the ongoing issue of dowry harassment and its devastating impact on women. The police investigation continues as the family seeks accountability for their daughter’s tragic death.
