Tigress ‘Riddhi’ attacks turtle
The viral clip opens by showing the wild cat approaching a turtle resting on the shore and grabbing it in her mouth. The tigress caught one of the hind legs of the turtle and left it struggling for life.
The turtle tried to hide inside its hard shell but failed to save itself from the tigress. The prey tried shaking its body to free itself from the mouth of the fierce attacker, but it looked difficult for the reptile to escape the firm grip.
Soon, Riddhi ran away into the bushes holding the turtle in her mouth.
According to news media reports, the incident was filmed from Zone 3 of Rajasthan’s Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve on Saturday during an evening safari tour. The moment thrilled tourists as they witnessed tigress Riddhi hunting a turtle.
