Raipur: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) celebrated “Mandate Day” on December 3, marking one year since its historic victory in the 2023 Chhattisgarh Assembly elections.

At the Kushabhau Thackeray Complex, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao, party leaders, and workers commemorated the occasion with enthusiasm, dancing to drums and fireworks. The BJP’s resounding victory, securing 54 seats, reflected the trust of Chhattisgarh’s 3 crore voters in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s promises.

Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai emphasized the importance of this milestone, attributing the victory to the collective efforts of party workers and leaders under the guidance of PM Modi, BJP President JP Nadda, and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Sai highlighted the role of then-state BJP President Arun Sao, whose leadership energized party workers and galvanized public opinion against the Congress government.

Sai underscored the BJP’s commitment to fulfilling Modi’s promises, including initiatives like providing houses under the Prime Minister Housing Scheme, purchasing paddy at ₹3,100 per quintal, and transferring funds under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana to over 70 lakh women.
