In the Arra Bingawa region of Kanpur’s Hanumanth Vihar, a woman riding a scooter was bitten by a pet dog. When she complained, the dog’s owner allegedly abused and physically assaulted her. Based on the woman’s written complaint, local police registered a report against the dog owner on Thursday. The accused has since absconded, and a video of the incident has surfaced on social media.

Prachi Shukla, wife of local resident Vikas Chaturvedi, was returning home on her scooter after dropping children at school on January 21st. Near the Nimtek Computer Center in Narayanpuri, she was forced to stop due to oncoming vehicles. Jaypal Singh’s pet dog then bit her on both legs, causing her to fall and sustain injuries.
